DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARD FAQs
- Active members receive their digital membership card via email once approved.
- It is only valid if it shows an ID-style photo of your face, full name and active status.
- For safety reasons, card details can only be updated via email
- Card updates & membership applications can only be updated until two days before an event.
- Your membership card needs to be scanned at the entrance to receive membership benefits. Once you passed the entrance it can't be scanned later.
- Do NOT send us your passports
WHY DO I NEED A
The membership card verifies your membership status and gets you the following benefits:
+ Entrance to members & friends events
+ Fast-track entry to main events
+ Access to members room at the main events
+ Discounted entrance at Tears For Beers
It also contains your membership ID number which is required to unhide discounted Early Bird tickets within the Dice app. Do not share it with anyone.
Please have it ready on your phone when arriving at our doors.
We no longer accept physical membership cards, approved members
must present their Digital Membership Card at the door.
HOW TO ACCESS YOUR DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARD
Approved members receive their Digital Membership Card attached to their Klub Verboten Membership Card confirmation email.
Digital Membership Cards are compatible with all Apple iOS iPhones and Android smartphones.
A Digital Membership Card will include the following:
+ Member's Name
+ Membership Type
+ Membership Status (Prospective vs Active)
+ Membership ID
The Digital Membership Card natively integrates with Apple's Wallet app.
When viewing your Membership Confirmation email client, click on the Membership Card file attachment.
Once you click on the file, your Digital Membership card will open.
Use the 'Add' button to include the Membership Card in your Wallet app.
On an Android smartphone, adding a Digital Membership Card requires an app that supports "Passes". Many people will already have an app which supports Boarding Passes, Concert Tickets, or Loyalty Cards.
If you don't currently have a "Passes" app, we recommend downloading PassWallet or WalletPasses on the Google Play store. Please note that Google Wallet may not work for all guests.
When viewing your Membership Confirmation within your email, click on the Membership Card attachment. Once you click on the file, you will be asked which app you want to use for the Digital Membership Card.
Select your preferred app for "Passes", and your Digital Membership card will open.
CAN I BUY A TICKET WITHOUT A MEMBERSHIP CARD
Anyone can buy a ticket to our events, however if your membership status has not been approved yet, you will be subject to addtional door vetting.
Upon applying for membership, every applicant will receive a Prospective membership status. A Prospective status does NOT mean you are an approved Klub Verboten member. If your membership application is accepted after being reviewed by our vetting team, applicants will be notified via the email they applied with, only then can one become an Active member.
Please keep in mind, everyone is subject to vetting, but not everyone can become a member.
MEMBERSHIP + PARTNERS
Every individual receives their own account.
We do not have couple / partner accounts.
Having a partner who is an Active Klub Verboten member does not guarantee membership.
Don't worry. We will never end a membership without making sure one is notified. So there is absolutely no need to be worried.
You can terminate your membership at any time by emailing us. Once you have cancelled your membership, you won't receive membership cards, discounted tickets or access to members goodies anymore.
