HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Klub Verboten operates on a membership basis for safeguarding purposes and to comply with licensing conditions. Before attending our event, everyone needs to be subject to a vetting process.

YOU CAN BECOME A MEMBER BY:

+ Sending an online application via klubverboten.com
+ Getting vetted in person at our social event, Tears For Beers.
(Just make sure you’ve completed your online application first.)

Either way, it is essential for us to sense who you are and that you understand the practical application of our rules & ethos before we can feel comfortable inviting you into our cummunity.

Not always, we can verify as many applications online as we would like to. We received a few scammy ones over time, and our cummunity demands enormous levels of risk mitigation of us. So please don't take any offence if we invite you to Tears for Beers to meet you in real life. It is the next step in wanting to know you more.

GETTING VETTED IN PERSON (TEARS FOR BEERS):

At Tears For Beers, it’s your chance to meet us, get a feel for the community, and complete your vetting in person.

HERE IS WHAT TO DO:

+ Submit your online application first 
(we can’t vet you in person without it). 
+Come to Tears For Beers and visit the vetting booth during the event.

Please note: not everyone will be vetted on the same night. If it’s busy, you may be invited to a second TFB. It’s a social event first, not just a membership factory.

PROSPECTIVE DAY-MEMBERSHIPS

If you are not a member yet, you can still purchase a ticket and come to our doors to get vetted on the spot to receive a temporary / prospective membership. However, a prospective membership is only temporary and does not guarantee any entry until you apply through our website and get approved.

Ultimately, everyone is subject to vetting, but not everyone can become a member.

CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP

You can terminate your membership at any time by emailing us.

Please do not hassle our inboxes our event crews for memberships. Pushy people that don't respect boundaries will be rejected.
